Shoppers visiting Preston Outdoor Covered Market on Saturday 30th November were rather bemused by a unusual stall structure located right at the heart of the Market. Nabma’s Retail Forum had the opportunity to visit the new Sheffield Indoor Market. Opened on the 25th November the Market represents an investment of over £18m by Sheffield Council and comprises over 190 separate units. Nabma members heard a presentation from Andy Ward, Sheffield’s Market Manager, on the project and the record 25,000 people who visited the Market on the first day of trading.
