Retail Market Halls – the Practical Guide

This course will explore Retail Market Halls looking at letting\\\'s, security, refuse removal, cleaning, fire risk assessments, other regulatory requirements etc. It will also explore leases, tenancy agreements, rating matters etc.  

The day will also focus on New Halls and consider layouts, provision of facilities etc
 
The Lecturer will be the NABMA Training Officer, Dennis Wardle, who has 42 years experience in all aspects of Local Authority Market functions.
 
Programme is:
 
10.00 am coffee and registration and introductions
 
10.30 Course starts.
 
Market Halls, Layouts, Letting procedures, Tenancies, Leases, Service Charges
 
11.45 Workshop
 
Discussions on typical lease and tenancy terms. (Refreshments will be served during this session)
 
13.00 Lunch
 
13.30 Regulatory Controls, DDA, Fire, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Rent collections
 
14.00 Cleaning, Security and refuse removal contracts.
 
15.00 Liaison, with tenants, adjacent property occupiers, other Departments
 
15.15 Questions and Answers
 
15.45 Course Ends
 
 
Cost is £100 per course with reduction for attendance at both courses to £75.00 per course if booked together.
