Open Markets – the Practical Guide

Monday 13th October

New Smithfield Market, Whitworth Street East, Openshaw, Manchester, M11 2WJ.


This course will be on the wide ranging subject of open markets and deal with setting up, dismantling for street markets, layout etc for fixed markets, road closures, refuse disposal, services, rent collections etc.

The Lecturer will be Allan Hartwell - Director of Market Place Europe, who has over 30 years experience in organising and controlling Retail Markets.
 
Dennis Wardle, the NABMA Training Officer will discuss licenses, agreements, rules and regulations, and then provide a session on Street Trading. This will examine rules, regulations, prosecutions, licensed streets and prohibited streets. It will also reflect on pedlars and the known problems that they can cause.

Cost is £100 per course with reduction for attendance at both courses to £75.00 per course if booked together.
