While concerned with the legal framework of markets the course will focus on important issues such as communication, dispute resolution and making sure that rules and regulations are clear and applied consistently.
Markets rights will also be considered and there will be an opportunity to consider whether individual markets meet the requirements of the recently implemented European Service Directive. This important piece of European legislation impacts on a number of different aspects of the markets service.
We will be looking at letting arrangements and how to draw up the right kind of arrangements for individual markets. This will include looking at how to deal with byelaws, regulations and the benefit of licences against tenancy agreements.
