Members will recall that throughout 2007 NABMA held detailed discussions with the Valuation Office on the important issue of the rating review of over 200 markets. It is understood that Regional Valuers have been sending out revised questionnaires to market authorities following the consultation with NABMA. This is a preliminary stage prior to the Valuation Office looking at the rating value of each market and considering what amendment, if any, is required to the Valuation List. This matter is due to be discussed at the Retail Forum on the 2^nd April but if any NABMA members are experiencing difficulty with the questionnaire or have issues to raise in connection with the questionnaire please get in touch with the NABMA office.
