FRENCH VISITORS AT SHREWSBURY

Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council was recently visited by representatives of Groupé Geraud who had a particular interest in the new livestock market that is operated by the Shrewsbury authority.  Pictured are representatives from Groupé Geraud, together with the President of NABMA, Councillor John Gareth Jones and the Vice-President, Councillor David Farmer of Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council. Councillor David Farmer said “it was a great pleasure to receive our French visitors and we as an authority were extremely proud to show them the excellent facilities that we believe that we have developed in Shrewsbury.” NABMA President, Councillor John Gareth Jones, endorsed that it had been a great success “our French colleagues were extremely impressed with the facilities that Shrewsbury and Atcham provide for their markets. They are clearly leaders to our sector in the development of livestock markets and NABMA is extremely proud of the relationship that we enjoy with this leading authority.”
