Early proposals are in place for a Retail Markets Seminar to be held in July/August in Manchester.
The course content will be held over 2 days the first day being Open & Street Markets, the second day for Retail Market Halls.
Both courses will deal with type of licences, leases, road closures, layouts, refuse removal and all other aspects of running either event. The course tutor will be Allan Hartwell, ex-Director of Markets Manchester, and now Partner in Market Place Europe, who used to lecture for the Institute of Market Officers on the same subject.
Both courses will be stand alone but attendees can attend both courses should they so wish with a discount to be offered.
The courses will benefit officers working in markets and also those in city/town centre management teams.
