Nabma was well represented at the NMTF Annual Conference which was held at the Royal Court Hotel Coventry on Tuesday and Wednesday. The conference using the theme “Let’s Work Together” was the first under the NMTF’s new format and was considered a great success. Around 120 delegates heard presentations from a variety of market industry speakers including Jonathan Owen, of Quarterbridge ,Ann Taylforth, Town Centre Manager at Barrow and Krys Zasada.There was a strong European link with Henk Achterhuis and Maarten Graaf from Holland and Jordi Toira from Barcelona. At the Gala Dinner Nabma President, Councillor John Gareth Jones, proposed the toast to NMTF and was followed by guest of honour Sir Henry Cooper who gave a humorous presentation on his colorful boxing career.
