Continental Market Visits Ramsbottom

The Christmas Market season in Ramsbottom got off with a bang on Sunday 25 November.

A Continental Christmas Market was held on the 25 November from 10am to 4pm on the Bridge Street North Car Park. The event was organised through Bury Markets Management who this year licensed a continental markets operator.

Several thousand people visited the Market and were treated to a wide selection of goods from various European countries including; French and Swiss cheese, Corsican saucissons, Irish chocolate, German sausages, Polish Amber Jewellery, Italian Olives, Dutch wooden flowers, Belgium chocolate and Marseille soaps.

The Christmas Markets in Ramsbottom resume in December with the popular Farmers Market to be held on 9 and 23 December outside the Grant Arms and in the Civic Hall. These will be joined by a Xmas Sunday Market on the Bridge Street North Car Park which will be held on 9 & 16 December.

Ramsbottom boasts a wide range of quality shops, restaurants, cafes and speciality shops that will be open for business in Ramsbottom town centre on these Sundays

Regular Car Boot Markets are held on the Railway Street Car Park every Sunday and Bank Holliday Monday.

Regular Ramsbottom Saturday Country Markets are held on the Bridge Street North Car Park.
