RATES ISSUE RAISED WITH M.PS

Ann Coffey, Secretary of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Markets has reassured the association that she is to take up the concerned expressed by NABMA about the proposed rating assessments. Details of markets affected have been forwarded to Ann Coffey and the matter can now be considered by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Markets at a forthcoming meeting.
NABMA Chief Executive, Graham Wilson, confirmed “Ann Coffey is already proving to be a good friend to local authority markets and giving new vigour to the All Party Parliamentary Group. It is most helpful to have access to Government through Ann and we sincerely thank her for her obvious interest and commitment to markets throughout the U.K.”
