Nabma links up with Coventry University
Thursday 24 May 2007
Nabma is delighted to announce the successful bid for a partnership with Coventry University for a three year research project based around the contribution of markets to the food agenda and examining the general condition of retail markets throughout the UK.
The negotiations have been ongoing for some months and a robust bidding process has been entered into.
Nabma Chief Executive, Graham Wilson confirmed that “the announcement is wonderful news for Nabma and marks the increasing recognition of Nabma as the true voice of local authority markets. This is certainly a history making announcement and endorses the Nabma aim to be involved at the cutting edge in both training and research for the markets sector”.
Further details of the successful bid and statements from both parties will be issued in the weeks ahead.
