Dr Brian Iddon’s Bill to regulate pedlars in town centres failed to pass its second reading stage following an objection. However a meeting is to be held this week with Ian McCartney, DTi Minister, with a view to getting government support. There is a further opportunity to present the Bill later in the month and subject to the outcome of the meeting with Ian McCartney a decision will be made on future progress.
