North Shropshire MP Supports Markets Week

North Shropshire MP Owen Paterson was one of the first Members of Parliament to involve himself in showing support for his local market at Oswestry.
Owen Paterson is pictured with Councillor Owen Jones, Chairman of the Markets and Car Parks Committee, the Mayor of Oswestry Town, Councillor Mrs. Doris Barrow and Councillor John Gareth Jones, President Elect of Nabma.
Nabma President Councillor J.G. Jones said “we were delighted that Owen visited Oswestry Markets. He has long supported and campaigned for the value of local markets and his support was much appreciated.”
Owen Paterson MP confirmed “I am delighted to support the National Markets Week, markets are a vital community facility and meet so many agendas in terms of business start up, healthy eating and local regeneration”.
