NABMA KEEPS SUBS AT SAME LEVEL FOR TWO YEARS

Tuesday 26 June 2007

A recommendation is being made to the Annual General Meeting that NABMA subscriptions remain unchanged for a further year. This is another example of the success of NABMA and our ability to attract additional streams of income to offset against subscriptions.

In the last two years NABMA’s secondary income has increased significantly through successful conferences/seminars and also be attracting a significant number of sponsors. In the last year alone just under £30,000 has been attracted from sponsorship agreements. It is vitally important that this sponsorship support continues so all NABMA members are urged to utilise the services offered by our sponsors.

There is more good news, not only has NABMA managed to keep the subscriptions at the same level, but next year every member will have the benefit of a £50 discount voucher that can be used to offset the cost of training or attendance at conferences/seminars. This will be available from April 1st 2008 and will be an extra incentive to take part in NABMA activities.

The success of Nabma initiatives is headlined above with the new Deputy Leader of the labour Party and Leader of the House of Commons endorsing the Policy Framework document for markets.
