NABMA is sad to announce the loss of one of its past Presidents and a stalwart of local authority markets.

Ken McGeorge represented Burnley on NABMA for many years providing a colourful and considerable contribution to the development and day to day life of NABMA.

The funeral will be held on Thursday 2 August 2007 at 1030 at St John the Baptist, Ivy Street, Burnley BB10 1T13

NABMA Chief Executive paid tribute to Ken McGeorge. “Ken brought wise counsel, humour and warmth of personality to NABMA meetings alongside an influencing voice within the many NABMA debates in which he participated. He will be sadly missed but long remembered. Our thoughts are very much with his wife and family at this time.”
