NABMA is delighted at the feedback following the Showcasing Markets Seminar held on Wednesday at the Council House, Birmingham. Some 120 delegates, speakers and exhibitors assembled to network and receive presentations from a range of speakers covering both operational and strategic market matters. Seminar views and comments will also help influence the policy agenda that NABMA is leading in the weeks ahead.

A highlight of the event was the awards ceremony for Market of the Year 2007. Details of winners will also appear on this site.

Councillor J Gareth Jones the NABMA President Elect voiced his pleasure at the success of the event. “The feedback is very positive but the important issue was that market minded people came together to share knowledge and learn from each other. This is vital alongside engagement with other national partners in retailing and town centre management. Partnership, vision and promoting quality were key themes from this seminar”
