NABMA to meet Margaret Hodge
Friday 23 February 2007
The next APPG for Markets is scheduled for the 13th March when DTi Minister Margaret Hodge, pictured above will be speaking. Ann Coffey M.P, the secretary of the APPG, is very keen to ensure that there is a focus on issues falling within Margaret's remit and NABMA therefore need to consider issues that are relevant to both Margaret and the markets industry.
The DTi website outlines that Margaret is responsible for the following: Enterprise, growth and business investment Strengthening regional economies, Small businesses, E Commerce, Corporate Social Responsibility. There are other company responsibilities but these are not particularly relevant to NABMA.
NABMA members are invited to submit questions that they would like NABMA to raise with Margaret on their behalf, under the headings given above. Please email to NABMA by 5 March.
NABMA President Councillor Don Davies said “that it is important that we take fullest advantage of this opportunity. Please give your NABMA representatives an outline of concerns, questions, views etc that can be presented.”
