Brain Iddon’s Bill to amend the law relating to pedlars was objected to again when it came up for its second reading on the 23rd March. Brian will try again later this month.

In the meantime, following a meeting with Ian McCartney, Government Minister, we are waiting for a response. Ian McCartney listened sympathetically to the presentation made by Brian Iddon and Nabma’s Chief Executive, Graham Wilson and promised a constructive response on how the government might help local authorities.
