Nabma Conference 2006 – The Best Yet?
Wednesday 13 September 2006
Nabma is delighted at the feedback from its 58th A.G.M. and Conference in the City of Glasgow.
The largest Nabma gathering for over a decade enjoyed a vibrant, wide ranging and full programme of business sessions, networking opportunities, local visits and a large quality Market Place Exhibition.
Feedback comments included “the best yet” – “an example of the new Nabma” – “excellent presentations” – “great exhibition and networking opportunities” – “Well done, we attended for the first time but will definitely be back in 2007”.
The Conference enjoyed a glittering President’s Reception and a Civic Dinner kindly hosted by Glasgow City Council. NABMA was also proud to welcome and host its partners within the Markets Industry Forum and representatives of its corporate sponsors, approved consultants and exhibitors. The Market Place Exhibition was a major attraction with business and networking being transacted through the four days.
Incoming Nabma President, Councillor Don Davies endorsed the feedback. “I am very proud of the Conference and the feedback. We are not complacent however and recognise the need to build on our success. Our important task is to meet the needs of our members and provide quality events and activities. We welcome all feedback and ideas”.
