Surprise visitors on the Terrace at the House of Commons, the setting to the Markets Industry Forum Reception, were the Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott and his wife Pauline.

The Terrace Reception was attended by a large gathering of members of Parliament and Lords who discussed market matters with representatives of NABMA, NMTF, APMO, FARMA and ATCM.

Nabma President Elect Councillor Don Davies, Carmarthen confirmed the event had been a great success. “I was delighted at the attendance and the support from the key national organisations and most importantly the interest shown by Lords and Members of Parliament. I sincerely hope that this constructive dialogue and support can be continued and that the APPG for markets goes from success to success.”
