Dave Feeny to leave NMTF

Nabma has received confirmation that Dave Feeny, General Secretary of NMTF is to leave his position at the end of April 2006 as part of the development of the new NMTF business plan.
In the short period since the announcement many tributes have been paid to Dave by Nabma members recognising his significant impact and respect within the market sector and his work with local authority markets and particularly as a driving force of the All Party Parliamentary Group.
Nabma President, Angela Newton confirmed that “Nabma wishes to place on record thanks to Dave for his support and friendship over many years and for the close working relationships that the two organisations now enjoy”.
Nabma Chief Executive, Graham Wilson endorsed the tributes “Dave is a model professional who has worked untiringly to promote markets for traders and operators. He has brought markets to the forefront of so many agendas and is a person who is widely respected for his enthusiasm, knowledge, commitment and professionalism. He will be a very difficult act to follow and I wish him every success for the future”.
