Breaking News – NABMA AGM and Conference 2007
Wednesday 06 December 2006
Nabma is delighted to announce that the AGM and Conference will be held at the Imperial Hotel, Blackpool from 9 – 11 September 2007.
The Imperial Hotel is situated prominently on Blackpool's North Promenade, just a short walk from the North Pier. The Hotel benefits from being on the quieter, more picturesque North Shore.
Built in the late 1800s, the beautiful Victorian hotel has recently been restored to its former glory. Over £4 million has been invested by Paramount Group of Hotels over the last couple of years making the quality of bedrooms, bars, restaurants and meetings facilities outstanding. One of the Imperial's earliest guests, Charles Dickens, described the hotel as 'charming'. The hotel benefits from being on the quieter and more picturesque North Shore and has superb sea views, but is only a short walk or tram ride from all of Blackpool's exciting and world-renowned attractions. The hotel has 180 bedrooms.
A key consideration for NABMA following the success of the Glasgow conference is to ensure that the 2007 venue can provide the necessary space to accommodate both delegates and the Market Place Exhibition. NABMA President Councillor Don Davies confirmed his delight that NABMA is to visit Blackpool. “We have looked at many potential venues in the last couple of months to ensure that the high standards and requirements of NABMA can be met. The Imperial Hotel offers us a prestigious venue and location that I am sure will be welcomed by delegates, partners, sponsors and consultants. Please reserve the dates in your diary”

Full conference information will be available by Easter. Expressions of interest in the Market Place Exhibition are now welcomed by email to info@nabma.com
