Nabma is delighted that the Glasgow AGM and Conference programme from 10 – 12 September 2006 will be extended to include a visit and business sessions from the World Union of Wholesale Markets and its European Retail Working Group. The sessions, on the Saturday and Sunday, will be chaired by Councillor Paul Westley, the Chairman of the NABMA Retail Forum and the current Lord Mayor of Leicester. It is hoped that the delegates from WUWM will be able to stay to network and meet NABMA delegates.

NABMA President Councillor Angela Newton confirms that “the delegates from WUWM will receive a very warm NABMA welcome. This visit and their business sessions add to the NABMA profile and agenda that we are pursuing to raise the importance of NABMA and local authority markets both at home and abroad. The World Union link up with our conference is welcome and adds to the value of the conference as a learning and networking experience”
