Markets Manager
18.5 hours per week, £12,323 - £13,138, 12 month contract
Markets Assistant
18.5 hours per week, £7,862 - £8,415, 12 month contract
The Council is establishing a new markets management function and is looking for a Markets Manager and Markets Assistant. The new team will be responsible for the running and improvement of the Council’s existing markets, as well as developing a programme of themed markets across the Borough.
Markets Manager – you will have experience of markets management, be able to develop and implement ideas for improving the Borough’s markets and have good project management skills.
Markets Assistant – you will have experience of working with contractors/traders, be able to develop and maintain good relationships with traders and be able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
